Your Week Ahead: Your strength is being sapped by someone or something. The temptation is to take a bold initiative and confront the apparent source of the problem. That, though, is a like walking right up to some rampaging dragon, clutching a local-area smoke suppression notice. Even in the unlikely event of this beast being able to read and the even more unlikely event of it being willing to obey the law, it will burn you with the flame from its mouth as it starts to apologise! There are times when it’s appropriate to tackle trouble and times when it’s wiser to wait till you’ve got what you need to back you up. That’s not cowardice, it’s wisdom.

You now have the power to soar like an eagle, but you also have the potential to sink like a stone. It depends on how serious you are about honouring a vital priority. If you are merely intending to ‘go through the motions’ of pursuing a noble goal, you may as well stand at the cliff edge with paper wings tied to your back. There’s no advantage to be gained from ‘looking the part’ – no matter how well you dress. If, though, you are willing to be sincere, determined and true to your heart, you will soon be safely raised to a very lofty height. Take your time. Be guided by kindness and patience. And do what’s right, not just what looks right.

Also it was the first birthday in I actually can’t remember that it didn’t rain, an actual miracle.

Owl adventures, recharging

Once I managed to recover from Saturday night I ran off to the seaside for a hot 24 hours with my soulmate.

We met up at a diner and got late night milkshakes, ran home, turfed Ben onto the sofa, got up early and went off to Worthing, our favourite date spot for cafes and pierside gaming. I just got home, my hands smell like 2 pence pieces and my hearts beating a bit faster.

Owlface I love you SO much.

 

PARTY

Saturday was a total power night. Surrounded by many many of my nearest and dearest, I drank all the gin in the world, told everyone all my secrets and fell asleep at 6am mid ichat conversation. Perfect.
