I can’t remember how, but I stumbled upon Eric Saeters Flickr photostream a few months ago and a megacrush was born. (He scored bonus points for having cats too)
L’Age d’Or is hand made jewellery by Eric Saeter. It’s easy to see how much care and detail is put into each piece, and this makes me get a bit ‘I WANT, I WANT’ for everything.
I was first won over by this, GIZA / Great pyramid ring, distressed.
Then realised my heart was going pitter patter for all his creations. I checked in yesterday to see the latest which maybe my dream necklace. Anyone who knows me will be familiar with my anatomy obsession, particularly hearts. Things were never quite the same after I witnessed my own going BA BOOM BOOM (ok more like squelch squelch) on the Echo-cardiogram machine. You can see how perfectly this heart has been designed.
Heart and Dagger – Silver
Eric says “The dagger goes through a slot in the heart. The dagger is made to look like a railroad spike knife, and I constructed the heart while referencing medical illustrations. Solid silver. Will be made in gold also.”

Rakehells Revels
On Saturday night I got suitably dressed up (diamante in my eyes!) and went to the Rakehells Revels one off Summer party at The Bathhouse ( a totally dreamy new bar near Liverpool street). It was so fun, just the difference I felt like and full of wonderful beauties, it was like a babe buffet.
I bumped into some of my favourite folk and the night ended with me and Sophie drinking out of pineapples and happily wandering home in daylight. 10/10
